A few weeks ago I’d mentioned meeting up with a Chicago area wedding photographer to discuss the possibility of working as her second shooter/assistant for upcoming weddings. Yesterday I had the pleasure of assisting Laurie Peacock at an utterly charming brunch wedding at a super cool jazz club. Though my task was primarily to help Laurie keep track of everybody and ensure that all of the bride & groom’s requested shots were taken, I was also allowed to snap away. Of course much of my time shooting was spent on detail shots – Oh, I love the details!
